Developed as a joint collaboration between the Cambridge and the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the program brings together the global expertise and academic rigour of Cambridge, internationally renowned for its research excellence and innovation in education, with LUMS' strong reputation for academic quality, contextual relevance, and leadership in higher education in Pakistan. LUMS' deep understanding of the local education landscape, coupled with its commitment to nurturing educational leadership and effective teaching practices, ensures that the course is both globally informed and locally meaningful.
In Pakistan, while private schools typically do not require a formal B.Ed. or M.Ed. for teaching roles and government schools often rely on short induction programmes there remains a significant need for structured, high-quality teacher preparation. Developed as a joint collaboration between the University of Cambridge and the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), this program combines Cambridge's global expertise and academic rigour renowned for research excellence and innovation in education with LUMS' strong reputation for academic quality, contextual relevance, and leadership in higher education in Pakistan.
The program comprises eight modules, each consisting of five hours of face-to-face sessions and five hours of self-paced e-learning. Face-to-face sessions will be held on the LUMS campus from June 29 to July 23, 2026.

- Early Bird Discount: 5% discount for registrations completed by April, 30th 2026

Through additional guided learning hours and embedded tasks, participants may progress towards the Level 4 Certificate for Pre-Service Teachers (CICCP) via an accredited PDQ centre.
Upon successful completion of the Principles of Teaching Practice program, participants will receive a certificate of course completion issued by the LUMS and Cambridge.
