Course Overview

Teaching is a demanding profession and can take a toll on educators. Therefore, teacher burnout is a common issue experienced by schools around the world. Burnout cannot only cause dwindling job performance and satisfaction, but can also lead to poor interpersonal relationships and a high turnover adding large but avoidable costs to running a school. This training is for all school leadership who manage and support teachers. We will explore how to spot early symptoms of burnout and provide support to ensure the emotional well-being of teachers. Our aim is to learn how to create a culture of support and excellence where educators thrive and continue to exhibit high levels of performance. This inadvertently also has a direct link with improved student satisfaction and learning.
