Course Overview

This course explores the fundamentals of power, common misconceptions, and strategies for shifting power dynamics in organizational/societal relationships. Participants will learn to diagnose organizational politics through power mapping, cultivate authentic professional relationships, and leverage influence effectively. The course also covers navigating difficult conversations, overcoming stereotypes, and understanding power hierarchies. Additionally, it prepares leaders for change by examining sources of power, collective support, and the personal consequences of gaining power, offering strategies for democratizing power and holding the powerful accountable.
